A new version of the database software is now in "incoming"
at ftp.tass-survey.org. The file is
TASS_Database_0.7.1_25MAY98.tgz This fixes the error I reported
earlier. It is also the same software that merged 10 million
records on my compute over the last several days. It works but
is still not finished. I added a "ToDo" file in the Doc
directory.

In your incoming directory I see the following files:

TASS_DBMS_07FEB98.tgz
TASS_Database_0.7_19MAY98.tgz
TASS_Database_0.7_19MAY98.tgz-2
create_tass_cat.sql
shhopt.h
tass_dbms_libs.tgz
catalog.c
All of the above are included in TASS_Database_0.7.1_25MAY98.tgz
and can be deleted. Some are old version that contain errors.
