Simple video cameras with NTSC video output are under $100 through the
mail order catalogs. You can run a long video cable of course. Or, you
might try one of those UHF remote video units. You put in video and audio,
it has an RF output or an antenna. Channels in the low UHF band. Again,
check the popular new/surplus catalogs, price about $50 or so. VHF
RF modulators are available for a few dollars, but I think the UHF band
will have less competation and you may get more distance. Some of
the old computers designed for TV's (Commodore 64, Color Computer, Atari)
may have an old RF modulator in them, they are typically self-contained units.

If anyone needs a catalog reference, ask me.
