David and all,
Lots of reasons to ask for suggestions and help. This note reminded me of
the other solution. Use a soft screw and a hard block. Nylon screws are
readily available. Sigh! That is the one screw I did not order from the
catalog today. But I thought briefly about it. For our exposure times,
the periodic error is more serious than possible errors from stretching or
moisture absorbtion of the Nylon.
