I think last night's data will be representative of what the Mark IV can
do. I got 45 or so exposures, most of them 230 seconds. It was fairly
clear, the star images look pretty good. The exposure string continued
until dawn, so we have at least one dawn flat.
I assume a lot of you will want this run. As soon as I get a program that
converts the images to .fts, I will go into production and send out a CD
ROM to all that request it. :^) I think there is not much sense in
sending out my raw format. Send me a message with your name and address.
While I will fuss with the detail, I don't think the data will get a lot
better than this.
There will probably be a few more clear nights before the moon is a
problem, so I can take orders for sequences that might be interesting for
specific projects. An exposure length sequence for example.
