Another Mark III report

Thanks to the help of one of the RIT Physics majors (Christina
Brabham), I've started the process of reviving the old "Vermont"
Mark III unit. It is now located in Rochester, NY, so I guess
I ought to call it the "Rochester triplet."

  The highlights:

       - we managed to align the unit roughly

       - we have bracketed the proper VCO setting

       - the central (southern) camera, with V-band filter, worked well

       - the new lens I placed on the western unit doesn't focus light
onto the chip, even at maximum focal position. Ooops.

       - the eastern unit has some problem, I think -- must try again
                 on another night to verify

Looks like we can start getting some data on a regular basis soon --
but we need to build a little hut for the camera. Can't leave the
entire roof off our building -- it houses a 16" telescope, too.
