VSNET eclipsing binary list

Dear Colleagues,

   We have set up a new VSNET list, dedicated to eclipsing binaries
(vsnet-ecl).  The list is intended for exchanging and archiving observational
data of eclipsing binaries (including visual, photographic, PEP and CCD
observations), eclipse timings and O-C's.  The list can be used for
promoting observational campaigns and related discussions.  The articles
posted will be archived as in other VSNET lists.

   The reported data will be archived as in vsnet-obs reports, so that
they can be browsed on-line, and adapted for the Java light curve viewer.

   Those who wish to subscribe to "vsnet-ecl" needs to first send a
subscription e-mail to vsnet-adm@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp, with a text line
containing

   SUBSCRIBE vsnet-ecl e-mail_address
                       (your e-mail address)

(Please note subscribers to existing VSNET lists are not registered by
default.  Every intended subscriber should first follow the above process).

   The list will be activated after several days of the initial set-up.
The reporting format is as in vsnet-obs (subscribers will receive the
detailed description of the format), but differential magnitudes can
be reported as well.

   We are looking forward to seeing you on the list, and please feel free
to circulate this invitation to those potentially interested.
