Aaron,

All workers are welcome here.  However, if you want your work to be used,
it is necessary to coordinate it with others.  Well, this is not completely
true.  You can attempt to do the whole thing solo, and some might choose to
use it.  It is up to you.

I want to stress that your efforts are welcome, whatever they are.

I think we will all try to help, whatever you attempt.  For my part, I will
(as soon as possible) put up a minimum list of what you have to do to
communicate with the telescope.

No, you have not barged in.  You are welcome.  Just try to negotiate with
other workers so that some things are not done twice and others not at all.
 Actually this tends to take care of itself.  The things not done, attract
attention.  Things done twice we pick and choose.
