Re: [TASS] Coming Up for Air

Arne and all,

Well, I found the problem that was obscuring the problem I was searching
for. Now I don't know if I have a problem or not. Things were much easier
on the prototype. If I saw stars I felt good. It was spread out all over
the lab, with wires hanging off everywhere. Now I have everything neatened
up. It is much harder to test anything, and unless there are stars to see,
there is no absolute test.

My rule is that I won't shop it out the door unless I beat it up for a
month and can't find anything wrong. I am still finding things wrong.
But I still have a couple of weeks.

I keep looking at images that look funny. I can do a gain/noise
experiment, and it makes sense on one channel, but not on the other.

I am alternating between frantic work and calm thought. Sigh!
