The production of star lists will be dependent on crowding, limiting
magnitude, the PSF, and so on. I think it will have to be determined
operationally, and presuming the use of adapted Mark III data reduction
tools. A better figure of merit might be the ratio of fields of view,
assuming everything else is equal, and some multiplier for the presumed
difference in limiting magnitude....well, real results will tell the tale.
