last night, etc.

Well, I almost programmed things right. I ended up
taking darks during the BP Vul observations and opening
the shutter during the 'darks' prior to and after the
BP Vul dataset. So basically I missed BP Vul last night.
No big deal since the eclipses really don't start getting
into my observational window until tomorrow night, and it
was cirrusy all night anyway.
Al is making lens shades today. We're taking 6" vent
pipe and adding a mounting bracket. I think it will work
just fine. The weight is a little concern, as there is
not a lot of travel on the focus motor. We may have to
add weights to the rear end for balance. In fact, I suggest
we do that on all systems anyway so that we can move the telescopes
farther forward and therefore have less focus lead screw
and slide trombone out the rear end; I think that will
help on keeping the CCDs perpendicular to the optical axis.
