I just received the recirculating ball slides that I bought to see if they would work for the focus trombone. They turn out to be an exact replacement! I will be able to just punch out the old bearing and put in the new one. The friction is possibly 1/100th that of the present nylon slide bearing. This should greatly reduce the out of flat of the CCD due to moving the focus. Tom Droege
