Ron asked about the final resting place for the computer.
Tom supplied a 90-foot cable, which is long enough to get
the computer into our climate-controlled computer room.
I prefer that location rather than out in the cold and
wet, but realize that means less lightning protection.
I may rethink this issue in the Spring.  Right now I want
to take advantage of good weather and fix other problems.
  The break-detection circuit sounds like a good idea.
