Work Day

It is 4:45PM here in Batavia, and I have just finished writing the last CD
ROM from last night. Of course I am doing other things, but I mostly
changed disks when the tray popped out. It is not so bad. There are 800
2k x 2k images on the spindle. I am not complaining. The weather is
good. Soon it will not be so good and I am hoping that I will be glad that
I have all this data. There is a lot of bookeeping and log writing, I
never do enough. I have to write a commentary on the disk before I write
it if I want it to be with the data. You don't get a chance to add
anything to a CD R.

It is now time to run the cameras warm with the dry air circulation. The
ice problem seems to get a little better each time I warm them up.

A few more days like this and I will be exhausted.

It won't be long before all this is automated. Right?

It helps that I am playing "Harry Reser's Six Jumping Jacks" in the
bacground. At the moment "Masculine Women! Feminine Men!" from
2/13/26. It makes you want to jump up and dance. Now it is playing "Hey
Mister Have You Seen Rosie's Sister?". They don't write em like that
anymore. Spike Jones learned some things from Harry Reser. Have no fear,
this music is much older than I am. I can just remember some of these
tunes being played as "oldies" when I was young.
