Chris has the right idea. A little thought now while you all are coding
things will make it much easier to process non Mark IV data in the future.
Some of you are checking the ongoing work. Try to check for other
formats. Then feedback to the authors while they still remember their
code. It is always much easier to add something to a work in process than
to come back and modify it later.
