Re: Plans for units

Robert,

The drawings are freely available when we get around to scanning them and
putting them up on the web site. There is also a start at a write
up. The electronics is pretty specific to the CCD442A that we use, so
unless you are willing to shell out $2000 a crack, and put up with blowing
up a couple, I do not recommend this design.

Instead, you might consider the Cook Book project or the Audine
project. You can learn all about these by subscribing to the CCD
list. Send mail to
Majordomo@listserv.wwa.com
with subscribe CCD
in the body of the message.

This is not to say that our stuff is not available. It is freely
available. You can find drawings of the last project on the our web site
at: http://www.tass-survey.org

The present drawings (There are about 20 B sized drawings) will be
available when someone scans them in. Please no volunteers to do this as I
seem to be having enough troubles this week just getting some mechanical
drawing out, but if someone who already has a set would do it, I would not
object.
