Much of my time here is spent pleading with you all to do some work.  Today 
everything seems to have converged.

If I can believe the UPS tracking, then I am about to get a new computer 
which has been set up by Chris Albertson to run Linux.

Dough Welch has been at work on the serial I/O problem and has sent me 
something to test.

Rob Creager has sent me come new code which includes the requested 
parameter files.

Paul Roe has tested Michael Richmond's pipeline with disk 12 and is ready 
for more data.

The machine shop called yesterday, and I am about to get the parts that 
have been holding up the production line.  They are ready for drawings for 
the rest of the parts.

Sigh!  It looks like I will have to get to work.  But it is good news on 
all fronts.
