Problem #1 Solved
It would appear that Doug Welch has solved problem #1. The opening turn on
sequence is now running in 2-3 seconds vs the old time of order a
minute. Further, it looks like we will no longer get the mystery 10 second
delay. This is good news on all fronts. Of course, I will want to test
some more to make sure, but the signs are good.
Next I can turn my attention to Rob Creager's nice file fix for problem
#2. This is well on the way and I just need to spend a couple of days of
testing.
On top of this, Andrew Bennett keeps plugging away on the data. I have
another paper to read.
Then there is Paul Roe ready to work on data when I send it to him.
There is progress on all fronts. Now if Dan would just stop working
overtime at Fermilab and work for me, I would get MIKE and GLENN
finished. Well, he needs the money to pay off school loans, and I can't
match the overtime rate. Well, I could and he is worth it, but he has to
work the overtime to keep in good graces at the lab.
