Mike's TN: Planetary Transits

This sounds like an interesting project and should be
doable with a well-calibrated Mark IV.
  I should note, however, that I talked with Charbonneau
and Brown (STARE) at the AAS meeting, and they say that they have
looked at some 5000 stars over a 4-year period.  While
some data reduction is underway, casual inspection has
not shown any other transiting planets.  So be prepared
for a negative result rather than the 16planet/year number
given by Mike.
