RE: Mike's TN: Planetary Transits
The real question is, if the statistics I've used predict 10 eclipsers in
the STARE project and they see none, are the statistics wrong? Maybe, maybe
not. It comes down the the question, what are the chances that STARE would
see a particular planet transit a star if it was an eclipser? If it's 10 or
20 percent it's no proof the statistics are wrong. If it's 90 percent then
it's something to worry about.
