RE: Fits Headers Again

Arne,

Hmmm! As I recall, you have advocated real time processing of the images
and not saving raw images at all. I am proposing saving the images in a
form that tries to get them in a shape where they could be passed around as
isolated entities. i.e. without the log book.

Just trying to figure out the right way to do it. I hope to have images
with fits headers in a few days and will try passing them out as further
distribution disks. Then we will see what happens.

I think a first project for me will be to ask if someone will write a
program to read an image and add WCS to it. I assume that this is a simple
script that I could do on my Linus machine which has both a read and write CD.
