Let's raise the stakes a bit.

Why not switch the camera to a vacuum evacuated design? The best cameras
do this anyway.

Or

How about a vacuum out-gassing "purge", dry nitrogen back fill and then
seal it up?

What are the possibilities of modifying the camera cases to accept
O-Rings for sealing?  I've got the CNC machining capability to do this
if needed.
