Re: "Getting Ready To Get Ready"

Tom,

I am putting together an rackmounted Linux system that I will use for data
reduction that will also run the Mark IV Camera here in Datyon. I will put
Michael's suite of programs on it as well as IRAF and the scripts that Arne
is using to reduce data with. I will try and bring this to your place when
Mike and I come out to put up MIKE and GLENN..I hope to spend a couple days
at your place..we can go over some reduction software and also get familiar
with the Mark IV System(s) before they get packed up and sent back to Ohio.

If we are going to hunt for planets..that means that we need to do the best
possible photometry we can..I am sure that Arne and Michael will have much
to teach us ..to get to the point we need to be to see planet transients..as
well as just do the job we need to do with the Mark IV's that Tom has
investing all his time and money putting together...
