Re: Mark IV Control Quesion

I run it under Win 95 most often though it will run under Win 98. I always
run it in a DOS window under Windows. I remember that I did get it to run
in the DOS window under Linux. It is easy to try. If you have any of the
disks I have sent out, there is always a copy of QBX and the then current
basic program.

Load QBX and whatever you find .bas. Then say:

qbx foo.bas

It should load and you should see the code on the screen. Then

Alt Enter

It should say

"Enter 1 to skip ADC Reading?"

Hit:

Return

It should print out a number:

Iterations per second = Some big number

and then in the lower right hand corner of the screen print:

Sent 681?2005 - with possibly different numbers for the leading and
trailing digits. It should then hang unless you have a serial port and a
stamp card.

If you get this far, then I would suspect that the program will run under
your set up.
