DSL Is Kewl

  Last week I put together a computer to run GLENN here in Dayton with 
(mostly from parts I had on had ) but I did by a 19 inch rack-mount case 
with head duty power supply and fans since it probably will sit in the back 
of the garage for the next several years any way...

I wanted to get the latest copy of Madrake-8 Linux from LSL (Chris put me on 
to them a couple of yeas ag0 dirt cheap prices ..you mosly just pay for 
shipping). I did not get a chance to order it thought...last week being a 
very busy week.

So having got a DSL line not too long ago I thought I would try to d/l the 
latest copy of Mandrake-8 from from the Manrake Web Site. The two 
distribution disks aare about 640 megabyes each, it took about 5 hours to 
d/l each disk from the Web Site (an impossible task almost with a 56 KBaud 
modem line)... So I am happy installing mandrake 8 and will start to laod 
Michael & Chris' latest software next.
