Progress With Michael's Pipeline On Disk 18 Data

Hello,

I now have Michael's Mark IV processing pipeline running both on my Linux
computer at home and an old PC at work with Mandrake-8 installed. I made the
change to the collate directory that was suggested earlier to fix a small
problem in the collate script. The only (minor complaint) that I have is
then when skysig vales are less than 1.0 the processing ends (without
skipping the image that is near saturation) I will see if I can make a
change to fix this in the next couple of days...

No if only Michael will post the last part of his pipeline when he gets back
from the AAS meeting (the step that turns instrumental magnitudes into
calibrated standards) then this looks like it will handle processing lots of
data automatically.

Now I wonder if Arne can post his IRAF reduction scripts for Mark IV data so
we can try to use them as well. The next thing that I plan on trying to do
in the next week is to make a 'Master Photometry File' using several of the
programs that Arne developed for processing Mark IV data for the AAS meting
(way back in 97 was it??) , they should work well on moderate size Mark IV
datasets as well.

Glenn G.
