Rob Creager's new software is running on TOM. After each frame this puts
up a couple small images from each camera and the mean and sigma of the
images. This gives a check that things are really working as one runs
through the night. Prior to this I never knew what was going on.
The data is pretty awful tonight. It is pretty bright and pretty
noisy. My eyes are not good enough to detect a thin mist which is what I
think we have. But the check images show that something is not very
good. Somewhere down in the trees is the moon probably shining on the
fog. You get the idea. But this is a good time to check out new systems.
Also, I think I finally caught the junk data problem doing something I can
understand. I will work on that tomorrow.
I am as busy as the one armed paper hanger running tests on two cameras and
writing progress reports between tests. Real time science, folks.
