It gets humid in Chicago?  :-)
I haven't seen the junk data problem.  However, ARNE
has been down for a few months and is only now being
awakened.  I'll keep an eye out for it.  Our "humid"
season is about to start (July 4 is the typical start-date),
but as Tom mentioned, even then it rarely hits 100percent
humidity and only forms fog on a handful of days/year.
Meanwhile it is fire season, with the first big fire
in a highly visible area on the San Francisco Peaks
just north of town.
  I've been busy with administrative duties (choosing
infrared array detectors at the end of a contract),
but will be more active shortly.
