RE: Focus indication

This reminds me that I have not replied to the objections to the present
file name format. I am ending in .fits becaus DS9 demands it. It does not
display files in its file window unless the end in .fits

The long file name seemed like the thing to do at the time. Arne, you
still need to assign yourself a location letter.

I will respond to any reasonable file naming convention. How about
location
filter
processing status
5 digits 2 JD, 3 JD milliday
.fits or .fts

Or we could retain the present four letters and use four places of
fractional day. The day is useful when looking at a lot of stuff in one
directory. My practice is to never put two different days in a directory,
so we may not need this.

I note that with short exposures, one runs the risk of a milliday not being
short enough to separate two exposures.
