MIKE is now Working

MIKE is now working with the new proms.  Sigh!  It has been an all day 
struggle.  Many problems.  The last was when I discovered that the computer 
I was using apparently has a bad bus bit.  Sigh!  It is a pretty old 
computer.  It was named after an orange cat (GB) that has been dead for 
about 5 years.  Good cat, bad computer.

You can understand how this complicates trouble shooting.

OK, this was no doubt caused by leaving the memory card cable connected 
during thunderstorms.  Not a good plan.

A first look at the data indicates that the chip is not built according to 
the specs.  I am not sure there are any covered pixels.  The overscan 
pixels come out OK, but I only counted 15 and there are supposed to be 
16.  I will look more closely.

This is a first warning that I will be away from the internet from July 17 
through the 29th.
