Disk 17/18 server is down

If somebody is still trying to draw the light-curves of the stars from disk set
17 and 18, here is the bad news: my cable internet provider decided to change all
IP numbers, go to new equipment etc, so I can not even access my computer from
outside anymore. From 1 August I move to another location, so this would cease
anyway.

This and other such events call again for a computer which could host some larger
quantities of data and some CGI scripts. So Chris, of you can setup some computer
for this, as you said before, I think nobody at TASS would object. It just
seems, however, that some simple Pentium 200 MHz or faster would be easier to use
than Sun which is probably not known to everybody. But Sun is certainly better
than nothing.

To Michael R.: please remove the links of the TN 77 to my copy of pages because
they are no longer available. Thanks.

BTW, just another thing: yesterday I was using Vizier service to find more data
about some of the variable candidates from disks 17 an 18, and for quite a lot of
the stars there was also data from TASS tenxcat on the result page. And just a
simple click on the "TASS" link showed the light curve immediately. Very
impressive!
