New Code
It looks like everything works. At least on the test stand. I have gone
through the code and patched everything.
In the old scheme, every time a motor operation was done, i.e. move to
limit, the motor was turned off at the end of the operation. Now I require
a separate "TurnTheMotorsOff" command. This allows the ClampOff, Move
Dec., ClampOn sequence without a motor turn off.
As near as I can tell, if the Dec. axis will move, then the motor torque
will hold it in position until the clamp is on. There are problems with
the chain drive, but little can be done about that.
Arne, I have patched all your changes but have not yet tested them. I
think they will just work. I will test as much as I can on MIKE.
I think I am now ready to send out a new program and a Stamp to Arne and
Michael. I will test about a week and then send CARE packages.
I think the junk data problem is really fixed. No problem for some time now.
