Production

The last couple of days have been spent trying to get Stamp/Scanner boards 
through the production line with the changes that worked for MIKE.

Of course, when I turned things on, nothing worked.  I updated 6 or 7 
boards with all the wiring changes, new proms, and new Stamp code.  None of 
the boards worked, but most failed in a similar mode.  Sigh!  After a lot 
of trouble shooting I located the problem in the prom code.  Somehow I 
wrote the wrong code in all of the top horizontal proms.  Since this is a 
mindless operation, it took me a long time to suspect the prom 
code.  Things happen on very long time intervals in the proms so it is hard 
to see the pulses.  I was suspecting all the wiring changes.

It looks like another day or two will get me a stack of working 
Stamp/Scanner boards.  I will then send one to Arne and Michael for 
exchange so that we will all be running the same hardware.

Chris, you may want to consider whether you still want to keep the hardware 
setup.  If not, then you might pack up the boards and send them back to me 
as they will eventually be needed for spares.  If you want to keep the 
setup running, then let me know and I will send you the updated Stamp/Scanner.
