ARNE

I replaced the galvanized roof on the cover with
heavyweight fiberglas. This is quite a bit lighter and
doesn't get as hot during the day. There are three common
roofing weights for fiberglas, each with increasing
warranty. I found the lightweight stuff to have no bending
strength; it might be ok applied over a solid plywood roof.
The medium weight might work, but I'd put trusses every foot
or so especially if you get any snow. We'll see how the
heavyweight stuff holds up to Flagstaff weather!
  We are still deep within our monsoon; a few weeks more
before I can chance an all-night observing run.  Too bad;
I've missed Comet Linear and WZ Sge in the past few weeks.
The forest sure looks green, though.
