I don't know.  How hard would it be?  A simple serial command causes the 
Mark IV to scan out the two chips and send the data byte parallel.  There 
is no provision to halt of slow this process once started so the path must 
absorb 16MBytes of data withoug pause.  No retransmission is 
possible.  Once scanned the data is lost.
