VNC is the answer for this - I routinely work on my computer at the shop
(56 miles away from home) through the internet.  My partner found it
quite shocking the first time the printer stated spitting out Charts
with noe one physically there.


You can get VNC free from http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/

It's easy to use and is available for multiple platforms.
