Re: fun with coadding images on Disk Set 19

Dirk and all interested data munchers,

Here is a list of the data frames I have. In general, the later dates are
better data. The RA listed is within 1 Degree for the later dates. Some
of the earlier dates have big RA errors. All data is taken at a nominal
center Declination of +4 Degrees, 30 Seconds.

I would go for things near the center of these ranges. If there is a range
of interest, then I will check the actual frames against a star atlas to
get a closer estimate of where the telescope is pointing.

Many of the earlier runs have ice crystals on the V camera. I seemed to
have learned now hot to keep them off. The best VI pairs will be for later
runs.

I will be happy to send out data sets for those interested in looking at
some particular object to generate a calibration.

Some of the earlier runs contained only 50 images. All the later runs have
56 VI image pairs. Not all have flat field runs to go with the data
runs. I find little change in the flat field from night to night. This
also should hold true for the darks which should vary less than the noise
when up to the operating temperature. Now that it has cooled down, I am
running at -17 C on both cameras.

All fields are 4x4 degrees centered around +4D30m and the indicated RA.

Available runs of 56 VI image pairs:
