TOM2

Dan is here today and we are finishing up TOM2.  I just put together two 
new cameras with new chips.  They just went together and worked.  We shall 
see if they see stars.  Looks like about a week until TOM2 is running.  I 
had hoped to have TOM2 and TOM3 running by now, but I just have not had the 
energy to push it through.

I have been spending too much time with doctors to make much 
progress.  Even though I am still radioactive from the last test, I went to 
a cardiologist yesterday as I have had an abnormal EKG for about 10 
years.  I have found that a little "speed" gets me going in the 
morning.  So it seemed like time to check whether it might give my heart 
problems.  Don't fret, all properly proscribed by an MD.  He let me out of 
the office on my own steam, so I guess that is good news.  He could not 
tell any difference on the EKG from when I was on or off medication.  He 
ruled out 4 of the 5 things on my EKG that might be trouble, but (as is 
standard) wants me to take another test.  Sigh!  This is what it is like 
when you get older.  You put all your energy into seeing doctors.  I think 
there is not much net gain over the old days when you just got sick and died.

So I think the good news is that it looks like I can plan to keep doing 
this for a while.  I have about another two weeks of doctoring (and a 
broken tooth to get fixed) and then I hope to get back to normal.
