Yes, I have thought of this.  But it does not work at my location.  Fog is 
just too bright and unless the exposure is reduced from that used for the 
object frames, the CCD is saturated.  The same holds true for clouds.

I don't need a fancy cloud detector here, the CCDs just peg.
