No, I didn't mean to imply that we'd need to spend big $$ just
that one class of "professionals" can and does. If it costs $100M
just to launch a system why not spend 1% of that on testing?
Also the equipment is not so expensive or complex. The sphere could
be made for $10.00 out of newspaper, starch and paint. The other
design uses plastic drain pipe, paper screens and a bulb from a
flashlight. These things would e expensive of we were using even
a 1 meter optic but we aren't.
