if i may present a possible solution

get out your old or new laptop . .  or purchase a flat screen led monitor
. . . the computer will set a plain background to the screen in any color
you wish and with that brightness desired . . .  place a diffusing screen
in front of the monitor, (even wax paper will do), or ground glass plate
with a no glare spray on the surface . .  place in front of the mark IV
lens and take flats . . .

i believe the same equipment could be used for any size telescope,
just pull the ccd from the scope, put it in front of the above mentioned
screen, with or without a small focusing lens, and take flats to your
hearts content
