More Data
I just can't believe all the data I am getting in December. I remember
looking forward a few years back to taking data in December with the long
nights. But then I never saw any stars in December - January. Last night
with the moon not so bright and the longest (or next to longest) night of
the year and it was clear all night long. It is dawn and I am busy writing
data to CD. Looks like another 10 CDs of data last night. This can't
last, but as long as it does I will take data and hope that I can
eventually reduce it to good measurements.
It is very valuable to get data at this time of year since otherwise there
will be a big hole in the sky coverage. I now have lots of data at +7
between 23 hours and 10 hours. Spring data should fill in the rest, for
complete coverage between +5 and +9 declination. This should make a nice
engineering run.
