Data Last Night

The sky last night was pretty yucky, still I turned on TOM1 to take
data. Sometime around 3 AM a clear patch came by and I got about 100 good
images. This is the advantage of an automated system. You can just point
it at the sky and take data. Possibly some of it is good.

This assumes that later you can sort out good data from bad. At my
location, clouds always result in a higher mean value for the image. A
simple mean value limit will do it. I suppose at a dark location that
clouds make the image darker?? Can anyone tell me?

In any case, that is never a problem here. Chicago lights up any clouds so
the sky is always brighter with clouds.
