Getting Old

I am reminded that I am getting old.  I went to buy 1N914A diodes for use 
in the current run of camera heads.  Digi-Key no longer carries 
them.  Sigh!  They do not carry very much in axial lead devices.  I first 
started using 1N914s in 1960.  I guess that is a long time for a part to 
last.  No doubt one can still get them somewhere.  I substituted a 
rectifier diode that I could get for them since they are only used for 
transient protection.  RIP 1N914.  I will follow you (but not too soon, I 
hope).
