Mike,

This sounds just great.  I look forward to abandoning my QBasic 
code!  Actually, I want to keep the code as diagnostic code.  It will be a 
great help if I can stick to that use, rather than trying to also keep it 
up as a operational code.

All that scrip in the message got me a bounce from .au telling me that 
there was a virus in the message.  Looks like some systems read the 
messages themselves!
