Strange Dip

I have found a number of stars that look like the attached.  Here are two 
stars plotted in I on the same graph.

#100   RA 59.86960  +9.19653
#87     RA 59.82437  +9.21510

Note that they just dip and disappear.  

There is nothing to be seen in V, but note that if the I value disappears, 
then the v does also.  A reason, I think, to have the option of not requiring 
the VI match to get a star to the output.
