Good Results

John and all,

OK, it should be obvious that we need to do something with the good
results. First, it is not my intention to keep any data secret or prevent
anyone from publishing it. Just refer to tass when you do. But that is
not a rule, only good manners.

I am working on an engineering paper. Perhaps we can save the nice ones
from DS23 for the engineering paper. I don't see any lack of good
candidates for the paper whenever I get it out. In any case, we will have
to figure out what to do with the tass data eventually.

My general view is that I am not a variable star expert. I do not plan to
try to classify each one. I am pretty good at getting measurements
made. So what I want to do is take measurements and then make them
available to those that want to do classification. I know that this is
only part of the job. It is what I can do. It might also be worthwhile
to put up a list of "interesting stars that need classification".

I assume that at some point we will put up a 50xcat or some such with the
data from +7 degrees. Input from experts is welcome.

One thing is for sure. All this is keeping me productively busy in
retirement. This is what it was planned to do. So remember, by objective
might be different from yours. I am trying to have fun. As long as I have
fun, I will keep at it. You are welcome to have fun too. I would not
expect you to be hanging around if it were not fun.
