It could/would be useful if in the generation of the .big file the
number of nights of observation of each object were also tallied as well
as the total number of measurements, and passed to a separate file. 
Just counting the different number of separate interger JD dates per
object would do or something.

Whatever the WS statistic and/or the length of each run, the short
period stars with more runs are going to be more likely to be directly
solvable, at least in the first instance, as more light curve is likely
to be sampled.

Or whatever way would be best to do this.
