RE: Multiplication of White Elephants
I think Louie the Liquidator is about to find out that he has raised his
price too quickly. He will be lucky to find anyone else that wants these
units. For $1800 you can buy redundant hard drives with the same capacity
as 500 CD ROMs. In fact, Louie has a bunch of them that he will sell
you. It is only those of us that have a big stack of CD data that they
want to read from time to time that might be interested. So if you are
interested, sit tight and wait. The price will come back down, I
predict. Of course, he might sell all at the higher price. We shall see!
