Re: GSC 748-1618
It turns out that GSC 748-1662 is not a good choice for a comp star
because there are a couple of little buggers tucked up close to it. If
anyone wants to look at this star I'd say good comp stars are:
GSC 748-1474 V=10.96 B-V=0.97
GSC 748-2519 V=10.51 B-V=0.96
GSC 748-2263 V=11.86 B-V=1.03
The program star is:
GSC 748-1618 V=11.07 B-V=0.97
My observations averaged to 11.45 with very little variation. TASS
ranged from 11.7 to 11.2. See attached jpeg. I'm sort of wondering if
something fishy is going on with this one. It seems odd that TASS
measured a 0.1 mag change per hour and I measured a 0.01 mag change
per hour. More data is needed.
