I think I offered some time ago (but maybe it was just in
my mind) to redo the reference catalog transformations so
that instead of just linear fits, they use something like
the table lookup scheme that (Bessell?) published.  Such
a revision is necessary to get decent Ic magnitudes, so
it has been on my plate of things to do.  Let me see if I can
get back into the swing of things next week and generate a more
photometrically useful version of Tycho2.
